Compared with viewing the plethora of mind-numbing reality fare and overwrought medical dramas on mainstream television these days, I will happily surf the upper channels for a decent program in syndication that relies on crisp dialogue, well-rounded characters and crafted plot lines that draw in the audience.

Likewise, there are days when I prefer to pass on the latest and greatest from the automakers, instead gravitating to some of the more mature products in their respective lineups -- I like to think of it as visiting old friends. The Audi A4 2.0T is one of them.
