Lawyer wins payout after bollard prangs £130k Bentley 01/07/2008 20:36. ONE of Scotland's leading lawyers has won a £1000 payout
after a faulty traffic bollard damaged his Bentley. Richard Keen QC, dean of the Faculty of Advocates, pranged his prized £130,000 motor when he drove into the Parliament Square car park at the High Court in Edinburgh. As he drove his blue Bentley convertible in, gate sensors caused the automatic bollards to suddenly rise, crunching the front spoiler. The Scottish Court Service quickly admitted damaging his car and have offered him more than £1000 to restore the Bentley to its previous pristine condition.
