Germany: Styling and transmission updates for BMW M3 01/08/2008 03:17. After only a few months of sales in some markets, the BMW M3 sedan has been given a styling update. The changes are
in line with the mid-life facelift that was announced for
the 3 Series sedan and wagon range earlier this month. The range continues to consist of a sedan, a coupe and a convertible, while a spokesman for BMW UK told AutomotiveWorld.com that the continued lack of a Touring (wagon) is due to the disinterest in such a bodystyle from US buyers. Despite what would seem to some to be a missed opportunity and a low-cost/high-return vehicle in other markets, BMW's decision not to produce an M3 Touring is reportedly firm "for this generation" of the range, Gavin Ward states.
