05/07/2008 08:59. Judge of Accountability Court no. 2, Chaudhry Muhammad Younas here Friday ordered the authorities concerned to hand over the BMW car to a American citizen of Pakistani origin after he proved that the vehicle belongs to him.

According to details, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had filed a reference against PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari with the allegations that he (Zardari) caused loss to the national exchequer by importing this luxury vehicle in the country in the head of custom duty.

The hearing continued for number of years, but NAB could not prove that the vehicle belonged to Asif Zardari and later the court acquitted PPP co-chairperson from the case... // The News - International
