04/07/2008 02:00. Nick Heidfeld is certain that BMW will recover from its French Grand Prix slump in this weekend's Silverstone race.

Just a fortnight after taking a stunning one-two in Canada, BMW dropped back in France, with Montreal winner Robert Kubica finishing fifth and Heidfeld only managing a dismal 13th.

But the German is optimistic that his team will return to form in Britain.
