2008 BMW M3 Convertible

22/08/2008 10:32. BMW unveiled its newest M3 team member at the 2008 New York Auto Show. It is the M3 Convertible - the third body configuration for the M3 Series lineup (the first two are a coupe and a sedan). The M3 Convertible isn't a ragtop, but rather a retractable hardtop that provides both the security of a coupe and the pleasure of open-air motoring at the touch of a console-mounted switch.

The M3 features the new M DCT transmission, a seven-speed unit that features Drivelogic, which is capable of changing gears without the slightest interruption in power flow. The Drivelogic control provides 11 different shift programs - five automatic operation programs of the transmission and six manual - to suit individual driver requirements.
