01/07/2008 01:47. GRAND BLANC - Sunday's final round of the Buick Open finally delivered the excitement that had been missing all week at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club.

It was a shootout from the start, as a bevy of players tried to put themselves in position to take home the $900,000 first prize. At one point during the round, as many as 11 players were within two strokes of the lead.

The scores were low, the drama high and the

shot-making superb, much to the delight of the large galleries, easily the best turnout of the week.
