04/07/2008 04:41. Twinsburg " Chrysler announced this week that the Twinsburg stamping plant is having its production reduced this summer, which will cause "temporary" layoffs of its workers.

Low car sales and high gas prices are fueling the "temporary" summer layoffs, said Chrysler spokesperson Ed Saenz.

Saenz said the layoffs will last for "weeks," but he said he did not expect production operations to "return back to normal" until September.
