Citroen, Loeb Lead Rallye De France After Day 1

Loeb continues to romp in WRC competition. This time its the Rallye De France he's dominating.
Reigning FIA World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb leads the Rallye de France - Tour de Corse at the end of the opening day of competition. Closest Championship rival Mikko Hirvonen is second with his team-mate François Duval lying third overnight.
The Rallye de France comes immediately after last week’s Spanish round and, while both are asphalt events, this is viewed as the Championship’s classic sealed surface rally. The roads on the mountainous Mediterranean island are narrow and incessantly twisty and weather conditions invariably play a huge part in the outcome, as they can change so suddenly.
