04/07/2008 08:17. According to a report emanating from the MarketWatch Web site, General Motors has apparently decided to bring its subcompact Beat small car to the U.S. market.

The Beat debuted at the 2007 New York Auto Show, featuring two doors and a tiny 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that is reported to attain fuel economy ratings of around 40 mpg. // MotorTrend Magazine
