13/08/2008 17:04. (MENAFN) The Chairman of state-owned Kuwait Oil Tanker Co (KOTC) announced that the company has inked a letter of intent with South Korea's Daewoo Engineering & Construction to construct four very large crude carriers, Gulf News reported.

He also said that the agreement is valued at $700 million and the final contract will be signed on August 21. Final delivery is scheduled for the end of 2011 as part of a fleet renewal plan.
