As fitted to the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 full-size pickup, the unit will produce 390hp (291kW), while the original torque figure of 404 lb-ft has been changed to 407 lb-ft. These numbers represent a 13% increase in horsepower and 8.5% increase in torque over the 2008 Ram's 5.7-litre V8.
