The latter is sold out until the 2009s go into production later this year. Oh, and who could forget the runt of the litter, the Caliber SRT4? Not me!

It might not have racing stripes or a big Hemi engine, but this four-door FWD hatchback gets 'er done with a peppy and efficient 2.4-litre turbocharged and intercooled inline-four, lots of interior cargo space and pretty decent fuel economy. I got 10.3 L/100 km during my week-long, 450-klick test of this inferno red crystal pearlcoloured SRT4.
