Dodge introduces all-new 2009 Journey

28/06/2008 00:27. Dodge's latest entry into the SUV foray is in the form of a mid-size crossover that was designed to provide room to grow. The vehicle is the 2009 Dodge Journey, a global vehicle that blends the versatility and functionality of an SUV with the manners of a passenger car.

The Journey comes with a choice of two engines: a 2.4-liter, DOHC, 16-valve VVT inline four-cylinder that delivers 173 horsepower along with 166 pound-feet of torque or a more powerful 3.5-liter, SOHC, 24-valve V6 that generates 235 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque. Journey features a four-door body style in either a five- or seven-passenger configuration.
