turbocharged engine isn’t enough, then Fiat performance
division, Abarth, has turned up the heat with the 120 kW Fiat 500
Abarth ‘esseesse’, which will make its debut at the
Paris International Motor Show this week (2 October 2008)
But, following the philosophy that Abarth has followed for half a
century of making it easy for owners to get into hot Fiats, buyers
don’t have to decide whether to have the ‘hot’ or
the ‘hottest’ Fiat 500 upfront. The
‘esseesse’ package comes as a kit which can be added by
Abarth dealers to the normal – if the pocket rocket 500 can
be described as ‘normal’ – anytime during the
year after purchase or during the first 20,000 km of ownership.
