This is without doubt the first time we've heard of a car aimed specifically at young mothers, so three cheers for Fiat for attending to that gap in the market.

The Panda Mamy is based on the 1.2-litre Panda Dynamic, but at £8200 it's £5 cheaper despite having a lot of extra equipment. This includes air-conditioning, Bluetooth compatibility, a height-adjustable driver's seat and a split/sliding rear seat with ISOFIX child seat attachments.

A new limited edition version of one of Fiat’s most popular models has just gone on sale, and it’s aimed at a very specific audience – young mothers.

Called the Fiat Panda Mamy, the car has been subtly worked on to increase its appeal to both mother and child (or children), building on the Panda’s already well-proven strengths of manoeuvrability, economy, ease of parking and general practicality.

Based on the 1.2-litre Panda Dynamic, the new Panda Mamy comes with a host of useful and novel equipment, while introducing a softer, more emotional impact through the use of specific colours and materials.
