The Niehl plant near Cologne has begun building the new-generation Fiesta hatchback, Ford of Europe has announced.

The division has decided to maximise media exposure and jazz up the otherwise drab facility on the banks of the Rhein by 'wrapping' a section of the factory in Fiesta-themed artwork. It has also temporarily rebranded the highly visible site the 'Fiesta Love Factory' as the first part of a promotional campaign for the car.

Leaving aside the particular nuances of some markets in terms of advertising, Ford of Europe will sell one Fiesta in all countries that fall under its jurisdiction. Unlike some OEMs' regional groupings, this includes Russia. To that end,... // Automotive World
