08/08/2008 10:03. Ford's new ultra-frugal Fiesta ECOnetic was unveiled at the British International Motor Show last week, with CO2 emissions of just 98g/km. Ford in Britain claims that the 76.3 mpg Fiesta 1.6 TDCi is the most fuel efficient new five-seater family car in the UK.

Aerodynamic body styling (rear air deflectors), lowered suspension and low friction oil all help the Ford Fiesta ECOnetic achieve ultra low emissions, while the 175/65R14 tyres are designed to ensure optimised low rolling resistance.
