08/08/2008 03:34. DEARBORN, Michigan — The 2009 Ford Mustang rolls into U.S. dealerships with a new $1,995 glass-roof option available on both V6 and GT models.

The coupelike panoramic roof treatment features tinted reflective glass and includes a manually operated roller blind to block the sun.

The '09 Mustang also gets additional equipment as part of the Premium packages offered on the V6 and GT, including Sirius Satellite Radio, ambient lighting and satin aluminum trim on the instrument panel. An optional GT Security Package bundles a wheel lock and an active anti-theft system.
