02/07/2008 19:14. Sales of Ford's Ranger fell over 33 percent last month, as rising fuel prices and a souring economy pushed down sales of the St. Paul-made pickup, as well as trucks and SUV's across the industry.

Ford sold 4,882 Rangers in June, versus 7,372 in the same month last year.
