Could Ford bring back the turbo four-cylinder Mustang SVO? 04/07/2008 07:18. With automakers scrambling to wring every extra mpg out of their
lineups to comply with upcoming stricter CAFE standards, GM
vice-chairman Bob Lutz recently caused an uproar at when he
suggested the 2009 Chevrolet Camaro could one day sport a turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood . Enthusiasts were outraged by the idea of an iconic ponycar
powered by a glorified econobox engine, but now it seems the Camaro
may not be only one lopping off a couple cylinders in the coming
years. Ford is readying a new Mustang for 2010 , and rumors are the automaker may offer a revived SVO version with
