funding with the knowledge it was voted the seventh most supported
sporting team. A leaked national survey that involved several thousand respondents in all states and territoriesĀ placed the Brisbane team in the top 10 behind Sydney Swans with Brisbane Broncos voted second. Collingwood was rated fifth, with West Coast Eagles third, while Melbourne Victory FC was rated one place ahead of the Triple Eight V8 outfit. The Holden Racing Team was ranked 10th. The survey, conducted by Repucom International and was commissioned annually by corporations, has made Ford's bombshell decision to harpoon Triple Eight even more puzzling.
