The GMC Yukon Hybrid delivers a dramatic improvement in fuel economy over non-hybrid models â up to a 50-percent improved mileage in city driving â with all of the comfort and capability customers expect in a full-size SUV. Indeed, the Yukon Hybrid is mostly unchanged from the gasoline-only models, with the exception of some exterior details, subtle interior styling and several functional modifications.

There is no difference in passenger seating capacity, and towing and payload are highly competitive with other non-hybrid SUVs in the segment.

GMC Sierra continues to lead the industry in fuel economy, capability and power, all delivered with responsive ride and handling traits, and an exceptionally quiet driving experience. The lineup includes everything from job-ready Work Truck models to the unique combination of performance and luxury that is the Sierra Denali.

For 2009, the Sierra lineup enhances its segment-best fuel economy with a new six-speed automatic that is paired with V-8 engines (except the 4.8L). Additionally, the 6.2L engine previously exclusive to the Sierra Denali is offered on SLT crew cab models; it is also more powerful than last yearâs model and E85-capable. Other new features and content changes give customer more choices that support both safety and convenience.

GMC Savanas popularity reflects its versatility. Its a proven people hauler (up to 15), a durable and reliable commercial vehicle and is the foundation for safe, comfortable and luxurious conversion vans. Savana is available in quarter-ton, half-ton and one-ton weight classes, in regular and long wheelbase and with a multitude of engine choices some of which can be fueled with E85 ethanol, a renewable fuel produced domestically.

Fresh from a substantial freshening that included enhanced safety features, the 2009 Savana delivers the additional comfort and style of 17-inch wheels and tires on G1500 and H1500 (half-ton) models. Changes to the 2009 GMC Envoy and Envoy Denali models are few, but customers will appreciate the new Bluetooth wireless capability for safer, hands-free phone calls. It is available with Envoys OnStar 8.0 system. Also new for 09 are three exterior colors: Sand Beige Metallic, Quicksilver Metallic and Silver-Green Metallic.

They replace Medium Brown Metallic, Liquid Silver Metallic and Silver Mist Metallic, respectively.

Envoy and Envoy Denali have a roomy, midsize package that rides on a 113-inch wheelbase (2,869 mm). There is 80.1 cubic feet (2,268 L) of cargo space when the rear seat is folded. Both models are available in 2WD and Autotrac 4WD models.

GMCs rugged yet refined Canyon pickup greets 2009 with a host of performance enhancements headlined by a new 5.3L V-8 engine option that increase its capability, amplify its fun-to-drive quotient and reinforce its safety. Along with the V-8 engine is a new brake system and a new family of larger wheels and tires, as well as numerous exterior trim revisions.

A revised fuel control module helps most 2009 Canyon models equipped with the 2.9L and 3.7L engines achieve better fuel economy than previous models. The greatest mileage improvement comes in 4WD models equipped with the 2.9L engine and manual transmission, where the estimated highway rating increases to 25 mpg an increase of nearly 14 percent over the 08 rating.
