New Small Car from General Motors in India

30/08/2008 19:22. Small car industry in India is booming and is emerging out to be the fastest growing car segment that has attracted attention of nearly every car maker in India. General Motors shall be ready to launch its new small car India in the second half of 2009.

The new car from General Motors shall not compete with Tata's Nano but shall cater to the small car segment demands in the country. It is planning to take on its rival Maruti Suzuki in the 800-900cc segment as the latter remains the undoubted king in the small car segment.
