20/08/2008 06:45. TORRANCE, California — Honda released details about its 2009 Civic lineup on Tuesday, spelling out that as Americans embrace "small cars more than ever," the Japanese automaker is stepping up with more choices. Among the new variants: a 2009 Honda Civic DX value package and a 2009 Civic LX-S sedan.

Favorites such as the performance-oriented 2009 Honda Civic Si get standard foglights and a restyled alloy wheel design for the new model year. The Civic Si's powertrain remains unchanged with a 197-horsepower DOHC 2.0-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
