Honda Civic diesel tested

13/08/2008 22:12. HAVING never been a great fan of the diesel powered motor car in the past, I can honestly say that since having driven the new Honda Civic 2.2i- CTDi VXi, my pre-conceived negativity has had to be changed.

Starting with a rather individual body design and working through a good deal of interior refinement and precise motor engineering, the new Civic 2.2i CDTi comes over as being a fine automobile.

Honda has made use of bold rounded styling on the Civic, the frontal area consisting of centre grille and Honda emblem, together with headlamps and turn indicators moulding into one attractive package, which in turn is incorporated within the front bumper section.

A rounded roofline, flared fenders and a raised centre bodyline complete the overall appeal of the bodyshell.
