On Thursday, Honda (HMC) unveiled the name and the look of its new hybrid-only car, which is supposed to hit the U.S. market next summer. This car is being expected to be the cheapest among the next generation gas-electric hybrids.

I was reading Don Sherman's history of hybrid vehicles and noticed the Honda Insight's gas mileage - 61 mpg city/70 mpg highway. Incredible numbers, and that is from a hybrid developed almost a decade ago.
