06/09/2008 19:17. On Thursday, Honda (HMC) unveiled the name and the look of its new hybrid-only car, which is supposed to hit the U.S. market next summer. This car is being expected to be the cheapest among the next generation gas-electric hybrids.

John O'Dell, senior editor of Edmund's Green Car Advisor, reported, They will crack the under-$20,000 barrier. It's a new generation of a more affordable hybrid.

The name of the car would be Insight. It somewhat resembles the first hybrid which was launched by Honda in U.S. in 1999 and sold till 2006. On Thursday, only a photo of this new Insight was presented, but it is hoped that a concept version will be shown at the 2008 Paris International Auto Show.
