Honda Malaysia set to Jazz up sales
HONDA Malaysia Sdn Bhd expects to sell 2,400 units of the new Honda Jazz in the first year as more people look for cars with fuel-efficient technology amid high fuel prices, its chief said. Managing director and chief executive officer Atsushi Fujimoto said Honda Malaysia expects to sell 200 units a month. The second generation Jazz is fully imported from Thailand. While Honda City should account for one third of the company’s expected sales of 35,000 units for 2008, about 1,400 units will come from the new Jazz from now till year-end.
