31/07/2008 03:28. Honda has announced the second generation Jazz. This new model for Europe has different powertrains to those offered in Japan and North America.

With the release of initial details of the new Jazz, Honda Motor Europe has revealed that once again, there will be neither a diesel engine option, an extraordinary omission, nor any alternative to a five-door bodystyle.

Despite the sales-restricting specifications, the new model, which will be an import, is expected to be a great success in relative terms, just as the current car has proved to be.

Though not quite identical to the Honda Fit that premiered at the Tokyo motor show last October and which went on sale in Japan the following month, the new Jazz is very similar. So too, the 2009 Fit that will reach North American dealers... // Automotive World
