Cumulative sales of the Elantra, which is sold as the Avante in South Korea, totaled about 5.01 million vehicles last week. The vehicle first went on sale in 1990. (Yonhap) // Trading Markets

BEIJING, Jul 21, 2008 (XFN-ASIA via COMTEX) -- KIMTY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Hyundai Motor Co, South Korea's top automaker, has won a deal from China's Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co Ltd to supply parts for about 17,100 buses, the Shanghai Business Review reported.

Hyundai, along with affiliate Kia Motors, will sell the parts for five years starting this month, the report said.
