20/06/2008 18:40. The 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe is one sexy-looking car, with its flowing curves, broad front and rear shoulders and sloping roofline. But whether it can deliver performance to match depends on one's expectations.

During my week with the G37, it repeatedly drew envious looks. Perhaps the tester's scorching red finish had something to do with it.

This second-generation luxury sports coupe is longer, lower and wider than its predecessor. Its all-new exterior starts with a redesigned front fascia and Infiniti signature double-arch grille. The sweeping aluminum hood draws the eye back over the curves of the front fenders to the steeply raked windshield, then along the sleek roofline to the strong rear end with its large LED taillights.
