WILLIAMSTOWN -- Less than a year after the first truck rolled off its Wood County assembly line, Hino Motor Manufacturing USA is planning to double its daily production of commercial trucks, a plant official said.

The plant will ramp up production by September, said Joe Chronley, plant manager.

"We're going to move from 10 to 20 trucks per day," he said.

The increased production will result in the plant hiring about 30 additional workers, Chronley said. The plant already employs about 80 workers.
