LITTLE ROCK - Employees of Hino Motors Manufacturing's parts plant in Marion will work fewer hours but will not be laid off while production is slowed as sales of Toyota trucks and SUVs decline, company officials said Tuesday.

A subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corp., Hino makes axles and suspension components for Toyota Tundra pickups and Toyota Sequoia SUVs, two vehicles the automaker has said it would suspend production of for three months, beginning Aug. 8.
