Marion Hino plant plans uncertain
On Thursday, Toyota Motor Corp. officials said they will suspend production of Tundra pickups and Sequoia SUVs for three months starting Aug. 8. The 550 workers at the Marion plant, which opened in 2004, make axles and suspension parts for Tundras. "We just got this information (Thursday) so we are trying to digest the impact," Sanford "Sandy" Ring, Hino general manager, for external and legal affairs and administration said Friday.
