15/08/2008 03:46. TOKYO -- As North American truck production yields, Hino Motors plans to build a new truck assembly plant in Guanajuato, Mexico aimed at international deliveries.

The facility, to be built in partnership with Japanese trading firm Mitsui, will open in 2009 and will reportedly have production capacity for 1,200 trucks, according to Bloomberg News. The company will assemble a new product there, the Hino 500 series.
