18/07/2008 14:57. The Hino Motors Manufacturing facility and Toyota supplier in Marion, Ark., will not close despite concerns about its future after Toyota Motors Corp. announced it would close its San Antonio truck plant that Hino supplies.

Kay Brockwell, director of economic development for the Marion Chamber of Commerce , said reports that the facility may close were false and that Hino is committed to the area.

"We were never under the impression that it was going to close," she said. "Reports that it was going to close were not accurate."
