27/08/2008 21:50. Top Testing Times At Tasmania Bode Well For Teknic Honda This Weekend

Banking on the lap record breaking performance that Teknic Honda rider Jason O'Halloran put in at a recent Symmons Plains, Tasmania testing session, the factory team are expecting to be highly competitive at this weekend's penultimate Australian Superbike Championship round.

O'Halloran's time of 53.10 seconds was nearly half a second below the Superbike lap record of 53.573 seconds held by his teammate and current championship leader Glenn Allerton.

Whilst O'Halloran and his technicians worked hard over the two day event to gain the advantage by four tenths of a second from Dan Stauffer, Allerton also fared well scoring equal third-fastest time with Kevin Curtain.
