Japan's Mazda July global output up 25.5 pct at 126025 vehicles
27/08/2008 15:01. TOKYO (Thomson Financial) - Japan's fourth-largest automaker by sales Mazda Motor Corp. said on Wednesday its global output rose 25.5 percent to 126,025 vehicles in July from a year earlier, helped by brisk demand for its Demio, Atenza and Axela models across the globe.

July marks the 11th straight monthly rise in output for Mazda (other-otc: MZDAF.PK - news - people ).

The July reading follows an 11.3 percent increase in June.

The company gave the following figures for July, with year-on-year percentage changes:

Domestic vehicle output - up 29.6 percent at 106,752

Domestic car output - up 31.8 percent at 102,815

Domestic vehicle sales - up 10.7 percent at 23,936

Domestic car output - up 15.2 percent at 20,939

Overseas vehicle output - up 6.6 percent at 19,273
