1300 Subaru owners pay tribute to McRae

They headed from Colins home town to Prodrive, Subarus motorsport HQ, in Banbury, and then onto the firms centre near Warwick.

The amazing convoy captured the publics heart, with flag-waving, well-wishing members of the public, thronging the route, especially on practically every motorway bridge.

Apart from raising more than £25,000 for charities backed by the McRae Foundation, the convoy went down into the record books as forming the largest number of cars from one make ever gathered together in one spot.
