06/09/2008 10:11. Subaru has revealed details of its diesel Forester and Impreza ahead of the cars show debut at Paris in October.

Both models will use the same horizontally opposed 2.0-litre boxer diesel engine, which provides 258lb ft of torque from 1800rpm.

The Subaru Impreza diesel gets 148bhp and the Forester SUV gets 3bhp less due to the airflow available through the grille.
