Subaru enjoys record sales

05/09/2008 02:40. CHERRY HILL, NJ (WLFI) - Subaru of America is reporting August sales of 18,932 units, a 14 percent increase over August, 2007. Among the company's top performing vehicles was the Legacy Sedan, produced at SIA in Lafayette.

Subaru produces the Legacy, Outback, and Tribeca at the SIA plant in Lafayette.

2,402 Legacy Sedans sold in August, a 24 percent increase over the same period last year. The Subaru Forester hit an all-time sales record in August of 6,763 units, which is 73 percent more than August, 2007.
