22/08/2008 10:38. Suzuki's XL7 midsize SUV flagship was designed with the North American market in mind. Last year, it grew in stature, becoming larger and providing more power than its predecessor, while adding an available third-row, enabling seven-passenger seating. A larger 3.6-liter V6 engine was fitted, delivering 252 horsepower at 6500 rpm along with 243 pound-feet of torque at 2300 rpm to either the front wheels, or to all four via an electronic on-demand, all-wheel-drive system, while providing fuel economy equal to or better than the previous generation XL7.
