KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- The Kansas Attorney General's office is suing a metro-area car
dealer. Attorney General Steve Six announced on Monday that he's filed a
lawsuit against Chad Franklin Suzuki on State Avenue in Kansas
City, Kan. The lawsuit claims the dealership violated the Kansas Consumer
Protection Act, including "unconscionable and deceptive business

Kansas Attorney General Steve Six filed a lawsuit against a Kansas City, Kan., car dealership, alleging deceptive advertising.

The suit targets a series of advertisements aired by Chad Franklin Suzuki , which offered consumers the opportunity to either drive a new Suzuki for life with no payments or drive a new Suzuki for a fixed period of time with a low fixed payment.

The dealership spent about $1.9 million on 9,484 ads that aired between June 26, 2007, and January 27.
