At the same time, the sales of the vehicles Toyota makes at its Princeton plant didn’t decline nearly so much. Toyota sold 2,030 Sequoia sport-utility vehicles this September, up from the 1,660 sold in the same month a year ago. And it sold 9,647 Sienna minivans, down from the 9,865 sold in September 2007. Until August, Toyota’s Princeton plant had made the Tundra pickup truck but has since consolidated that production in San Antonio.
