Crunch time for Norths and Jeeps 04/07/2008 10:19. A loss for either GPS or Norths in their Round 15 Trinity Premier
Rugby clash at Ashgrove (kickoff 3pm) could prove costly as both
sides look to cement a position in the top four. GPS have continually improved their position on the ladder over the past month with victories over Sunnybank, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Souths, but face a difficult challenge against third placed Norths. GPS and Sunnybank are on 40 points with Norths on 44. A loss for GPS would see Norths jump eight or nine points clear, so the Gallopers are on thinner ice. “Its going to be either (GPS) or Norths in the four, so if we lose we’re probably going to struggle. If Norths lose I think they still have a good chance of making it, but for us it’s a knockout semi,” GPS Coach Mick Heenan said. GPS... // Queensland QRU |
