little surprised by the speed of this one:
A Dallas-area Kia dealership is using presumptive Democratic
Presidential nominee Barack Obama to sell small SUVs. CNN explains, "'Even ordinary folks like you can buy a Kia! Yes you
can!' says the Obama impersonator in a television commercial for Dallas-Ft. Worth area-based Central Kia, which uses a logo
that resembles the Obama campaign's."
The Dallas Morning News adds, "On Wednesday night - the last day the commercials were to
air - one version led off Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart , exposing the clip to the rest of the country." Stewart, in mock
indignation, insists that appearing on television to hock cars "is
an honor that we have only bestowed on... //
