25/09/2008 09:14. Kia is injecting more competition into the crossover market with the release of a new entry-level 2.0-litre petrol Sportage that has just gone on sale in New Zealand for $30,990.

The Kia Sportage 2.0 Urban comes with an automatic transmission and front-wheel-drive only, aimed at city drivers who want a roomy wagon, but don’t require the extra traction of a 4x4.
