inefficient at best and non-existent at worst. That means you have
to drive the car to get groceries, buy the latest widget from a big
box store or go to the movies. And, with record-high gasoline
prices, watching the oil companies reach into my wallet for an
increasingly larger share of my take-home isn't a whole lot of fun.
So, I don't think it was smugness on my part that I was thoroughly
enjoying whatever fuel-saving benefits the Lexus Hybrid Drive
powertrain -- as found in the RX 400h luxury sport-ute -- was
providing.
Actually, I believe it was closer to relief -- make that two-fold
relief. The first was in finding how easy it was to adapt to the
hybrid powertrain. The second was discovering that a green(er)... //
