Mazda June sales fall 7.7% to 23771 vehicles

02/07/2008 08:22. SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Mazda North American Operations said June sales fell 7.7% from last year to 23,771 vehicles.

After adjusting for three extra selling days in June of 2007, sales rose 3.7%.

Car sales in the month rose 2.6% to 18,844, while truck sales fell 33.4% to 4,927.

Sales of the Japanese automaker's top-selling model, the Mazda3, rose 8.9% to 12,346 units.

Mazda (other-otc: MZDAF.PK - news - people ) North America's year-to-date sales are up 0.3% to 153,141 vehicles.
